We all know the feeling. The records live in a program nobody supports anymore, or in a spreadsheet that runs the entire business, and only one person knows how it works.

The products for sale don't fit, charge by the seat, or don't change to meet your needs. And every proposed solution seems to be a complicated environment or a sales demo, especially with artificial intelligence, which was supposed to be the solution, but instead has layered new complications on outdated systems.

I've designed a workshop for the person who knows exactly what their records should hold and just needs a little help turning that from an idea into reality.

Because the reality is this: When you build new AI-built systems from the ground up, they come off the assembly line doing exactly what you want a database program to do. Create, update, and delete records. Display lists and navigate to different screens. Print reports and show images and multimedia.

We all know this is complicated stuff.

What you may not know is that for a growing class of database problems, the complexity problem has been solved, and I'll prove it to you.

Databases can be tricky, especially when they get really big or must support a lot of users. But unless you're trying to do some kind of hyperscaling startup, that's not your problem.

Most people get into trouble trying to cram too much information onto a spreadsheet that they have to maintain by hand.

That's exactly where a database is the right answer, even at the smallest scale.

For example, if you're hosting a workshop for the very first time, on a three-week lead time, would you expect to have a fully operating database for ticketing, scheduling, staffing, food orders, and spaces?

Of course not, you'd just do it with spreadsheets and lists, or pay for some service to do it for you.

Well, this is my very first workshop and I built all of it in a database.

The database behind this workshop, generated from a description: accounts, bookings, appointments, rooms, spaces.

That's because I didn't just figure out how to build databases with AI. That's doable, and you may have had some success at it.

My big secret is that I used AI to build a machine that makes databases that are built for ordinary people doing ordinary business.

It literally takes minutes. You talk your tables into existence and then generate an interface that does just what you want.

And then you take the database with you and run it locally on your computer, so it's your code and your data. What you do with it then is up to you. Run it for as long as you like, feed it to your agent to customize however you like, host it or share it or remix it, that's all you.

It's essentially the same kind of thing we already do with folders of documents and spreadsheets, except in this case, it's a full database that you can control through a standard UI, or through a connection directly to your favorite AI chatbot.
